As the summer vacation of 2023 draws to a close, we have developed work tips for student safety related matters, please read them carefully. The following will explain to you the safety requirements related to the collection of holidays and the start of school, etc., and we ask for your active cooperation to protect the safety of your children.
1. Preparation of items
1. Toiletries: bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, basin, bucket, cream, shampoo, shower gel, laundry detergent, 2 towels, sandals, hangers, toilet paper, and hair ties for girls.
2. Clothes: change of underwear, underwear, socks, and 3 sets of clothes. (2 sets of red and blue school uniforms).
3. Bedding: bed sheets (115*210), quilt covers (160*210), pillowcases (43*73), parents need to bring their own cushions, quilt cores and pillow cores according to the size of the bed. Bed size: 1.78 m long * 0.9 m wide for grades 1-3; Grades 4-9 are 2 meters long * 0.9 meters wide.
4. School supplies: textbooks, pencil cases, pencils (2B pencils should be required in junior high schools), pencil sharpeners, black ballpoint pens or pens, highlighters or colored pencils, rulers, compasses, dictionaries (dictionaries), exercise books for personal use, manuscript paper, etc.
5. Other supplies: Students should bring 1 set of chopsticks, 1 water cup, 1 umbrella or 1 set of raincoat, and 1 pair of rain boots.
All personal items brought to school should be labeled with the child's name, in order to avoid the loss of the school uniform, please embroider the student's name on the school uniform or the name purchased online or purchase a waterproof name stamp;
Phones, watches, mobile phones, game consoles, all electronic products, cigarettes, snacks (except milk, bread, fruits), valuables, cash, toys and dolls, accessories, various ignition equipment, playing cards, novels, controlled knives, etc. are not allowed to be brought into the campus.
2. Registration time
Ninth grade: 9:00-11:00 a.m., August 29;
Grades 1, 2, 3, 7, and 8: 9:00-11:00 a.m., August 31;
Grades 4 to 6: 14:00-16:00 p.m., August 31;
3. Check-in process
Park your vehicle in the designated area→ wear a mask, queue up at the school gate in an orderly manner→ check your body temperature→ enter your class and classroom→ complete your personal information form→ sign a student safety responsibility letter→ pay insurance→ register whether you want to take the bus and pay the fare→ go to the dormitory, settle down your personal accommodation supplies, return to the classroom→ wait in the class → parents leave the school.
4. Precautions
1. Students should take their temperature at home before returning to school, if their body temperature exceeds 37.3°C, or they have abnormal symptoms such as fever, cough, nausea, vomiting, etc., they are not allowed to report to school with illness, and they must inform the class teacher in a timely and truthful manner and send them to the hospital for treatment, and complete the leave procedures.
2. When students register, parents' private vehicles are parked in designated areas outside the school, and the school gate shall not be blocked to affect the normal return of students.
5. Safety education
1. Drowning prevention safety
The number of deaths due to drowning accidents every year is second only to traffic accidents, and drowning accidents have become the "number one killer" of teenage accidents. Big data shows that 99% of parents are not around when minors drown in accidents. Therefore, parents must educate their children on drowning prevention safety. Let children recognize dangers, stay away from dangers, and learn to protect themselves.
"Six prohibitions" to prevent drowning, students are not allowed to swim in the river without permission; It is forbidden to swim with others without permission; Students are not allowed to swim without a parent or teacher; Students are not allowed to swim in waters without safety facilities and rescue personnel; Do not swim in unfamiliar waters; Students who do not know how to swim are not allowed to go into the water to rescue them without permission. "Four Remembers" (1) for drowning prevention, no matter how hot the weather is, don't go to the river pond to cool down; (2) No matter how beautiful the waterscape is, you can't feel it in the water; (3) No matter how good the water is, don't go into the water without guarantee; (4) No matter how persuaded by others, you don't need your life to do it.
2. Traffic safety
Educate children to abide by traffic rules, not to play, play, chase, and fight on the road, to cross the road to take the crosswalk, to do "one stop, two looks, three passes" at the intersection; Pay attention to civilized courtesy when traveling, do not sit in illegal vehicles, and do not take vehicles in poor condition; Students under the age of 12 are strictly prohibited from riding bicycles on the road, and students under the age of 16 are strictly prohibited from driving electric vehicles and motorcycles.
3. Food safety
Educate children to pay attention to a reasonable diet, prevent overeating and food poisoning and other incidents that endanger their health, do not smoke, do not drink too much, and develop good living habits.
4. Mental health safety
Parents should pay close attention to their children's ideological dynamics, help their children adjust their psychological pressure, solve problems with their children together, and learn to consult and ask for help. Guide children to be more self-motivated and not discouraged when they encounter setbacks. When communicating with your child, be calm, understand your child's thoughts, identify and deal with your child's mental health problems in a timely manner, and let your child live happily every day.
